We are back from our little blogging hiatus and have soo much to share with all you. This summer has been quite hetic, but in a fantastic way. Mostly we worked our butts off trying to bring some awesome new styles to life, including an infant/toddler line called Little Benny. As for our bennykelly line, we released a southwestern summer series of stenciled tank tops and v-neck tees for both men and women, currently an exclusive score at Pretty Penny boutique in Oakland (we love them!). Keep an eye out for the launch of little benny at our online store.
But our vacation was gladly not all work. We did get a sweet weekend away to the mountains to take in a little nature. And the funniest part of all is that kelly got to learn how to shoot an assault rifle (dont worry it was an airsoft gun with the special eco pellets that biodegradable in 2 weeks!)! A hopefully useless skill but extremely fun.
As we get back to gathering ideas for the blog we realize that it is summer and one of the most inspiration seasons for crafting. Being so, we wanted to share with you some more great crafting ideas! Coming soon to the blog....homemade paper beads, potato stamps and screen printing via photo emulsion a quick how to (this was a special request).

Two of our greatest loves, comic book superheroes & fashion, have come to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York! The museum is currently showing a fantastic exhibit the focuses on the influence of the superhero in fashion and fantasy.
Don't hesitate this exhibit is only up of another month. If you enjoy grand, art influenced fashion designs this is definitely a must see! Check out more exhibit info here.

If you are in the Bay Area and love supporting local artists/designers, then head toward the gray city of San Francisco and it's Indie Mart Street Fair. This year the have taken it out of the Mission and over to Potrero Hill, where over 70 local designers will be hawking their crafts for your pleasure.
If your not in a shopping mood then take in the great atmosphere, music, amazing style and especially the BBQ & Beer!
